Scottsdale is Among “100 Best Places to Live and Launch”
Three Arizona cities made the list as Fortune Small Business this week unveiled its "100 Best Places to Live and Launch 2008."
Scottsdale led the list of Arizona cities at No. 25, followed by Oro Valley near Tucson at No. 44 and Prescott at No. 92. Phoenix did not make the grade.
Long-term answers sought for Airpark business
Long-term answers sought for Airpark business, an article from The Arizona Republic, reports that the Scottsdale Airport has two business plans and they come as Scottsdale starts updating its community area plan for the Scottsdale Airpark, the area surrounding the airport that is home to nearly 2,800 businesses and estimated 52,500 employees. Businesses and residents are being encouraged to share their vision of the growing area.

Scottsdale Expands Trolley Routes
In April 2008 Scottsdale will launch an extension of its neighborhood circulator trolley, one of two permanent routes along with the city’s downtown trolley service.

Overall the Scottsdale real estate market is still declining, but it shows a stronger seasonal recovery in February than average for this time of the year. February sales volume increase is 7.23% higher than in the last 7 years, and 13.95% higher than in the last 3 years. If the activity will keep raising and showing higher numbers than average, the Scottsdale market should stabilize soon and be closer to a normal market.
Fountain Hills Market Report - February 2008
Overall the Fountain Hills market is stable. The prices per square foot are 13.3% higher for single family homes and 6.28% - for condos than last year in February 2007.
