Scottsdale unveiled a vision for downtown that includes a more urban setting with taller buildings, better access for walkers and transit riders, and a continued dedication to arts and medical uses.
Also emphasized in the plan is the desire to preserve the historic Old Town and Marshall Way districts without allowing additional height.

“Beach House” Project Will Line Arizona Canal
Alan Lamb and Gary Lamb, of Lamb Architects, have designed the 55,000-square-foot SouthBridge Canal Walk residences along the Arizona Canal.

Overall the Scottsdale real estate market is still declining, but it shows a stronger seasonal recovery in February than average for this time of the year. February sales volume increase is 7.23% higher than in the last 7 years, and 13.95% higher than in the last 3 years. If the activity will keep raising and showing higher numbers than average, the Scottsdale market should stabilize soon and be closer to a normal market.
